Melissa Fire Station #2

The Melissa Fire Department is proud to announce the groundbreaking of Fire Station #2, which will be located near Melissa Lake Park off Throckmorton Road. The station is expected to open in late 2026.

Fire Station #2 will serve the northern half of the city, helping improve response times and ensuring emergency services can reach residents quickly and efficiently.

Bedford Animal Shelter

A division of the Police Department, Bedford Animal Services responsibilities include the care and custody of all impounded animals, responding to service calls, quarantining animals, investigating reports of cruelty, and enforcing animal ordinances. The division proactively seeks loving homes for all adoptable animals.

Prosper MS #7 - Jim Bridges MS

The 7th middle school will open with approximately 700 students on the district's east side at Custer Road and Frontier and will relieve overcrowding at Jones and Rogers Middle Schools.

Sunset Ampitheater

The Sunset at McKinney, will be a state-of-the-art outdoor amphitheater located at the northeast corner of 75 and 121. It will provide north Dallas and the surrounding area with a luxury, open air 20,000 seat venue for A-list artists and Grammy award winning national touring acts – set to open in mid 2026.

Euless Trinity High School

Trinity High School is a public high school in Euless, Texas. The school serves grade levels 10–12 and is a part of the Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School District. The school is named "Trinity" as an homage to the three cities comprised by the school district
